LONE WORKER AND PERSONAL SAFETY TRAINING

Lone Worker and Personal Safety Training

For staff delivering services from both fixed premises and those working alone in the community, FCP Lone Worker and Personal Safety Training will raise awareness of risk and provide practical advice on planning visits, safe travel and preventative measures to improve safety and increase confidence.

This course emphasises managing boundaries and expectations, communication skills to de-escalate challenging behaviour, and provides understanding of the emotional and physiological impact when faced with aggression in the workplace.  This course can also be delivered with ‘break-away’ training based on the risks your staff face.

With reference to your organisation’s policies and procedures, and service delivery area, FCP courses emphasise your staff’s responsibilities for their own, their colleagues’ and those to whom you provide your service.

This training will support your staff to manage risk more effectively, reducing harm and the associated costs of staff absence and potential litigation to your organisation.
