PHYSICAL INTERVENTION SKILLS TRAINING

Physical Intervention Skills Training

PI training can include control and restraint, breakaway, and self-defence and is applicable to Health, Care and Education sectors. FCP is proud to be a National Federation of Personal Safety (NFPS) Licensed Centre.

You can therefore be assured that the training your staff receive through FCP is current, and is medically and legally reviewed annually; it is therefore legally defensible.

The courses cover all legislation relating to Physical Intervention within the UK, and includes a range of de-escalation and non-restrictive interventions as well as restrictive techniques to ensure your staff are responding appropriately to keep themselves and your service users safe.

Of key importance, is that the techniques are simple to learn and really do work, thereby ensuring effective and safe handling.

FCP offers a range of competitive pricing options for certification including BTEC Level 2, NFPS Certificates or our own Frontline Community Protection Certificates depending on your needs.

The PI material is flexible so please call for further details of how we can meet your requirements.
